In 2023 the opportunity arose to measure an old harbor road that was being renovated located in the small dutch Caribbean island of Sint-Eustatius.

Transporting the total station across the Atlantic ocean was quite the challenge, as was setting up a GPS coordinate system. But the beautiful working environment was definitely worth it.

For this project work was done for a local contractor in cooperation with the local authorities.
